History

At the original  Highlands Grill, alcoholic beverages were served downstairs only to folks who knew the owner, especially during Prohibition. Mr. Hutsell kept a metal chain draped across the stair landing so that no one could gain entry without his permission. But these days, you don’t have to know anybody to enjoy everything about The Grill at Highlands Row.

The bar menu features local favorites such as fried pickles and tenderloin sliders, as well as a daily selection of local cheeses and smoked sausage. A playful and unique selection of specialty drinks are reminiscent of The Grill’s early days. From the Moonshine Mojito to the Weiss Lightning, the specialty drink menu, like the rest of the restaurant, is anything but ordinary.
