The Grill at Highlands Row is a locally owned and operated steak and seafood restaurant featuring sophisticated Southern cuisine. The restaurant grew from the belief that Knoxville would support a high quality, distinctive local steak house with moderate prices, excellent service and comfortable decor. The original Highlands Grill building has offered up the perfect venue to execute this vision. At The Grill at Highlands Row, we believe that feeding people is an honorable pursuit, and we invite you to join us and experience our wonderful Southern specialties.

Our unique menu reflects the restaurant’s commitment to the Knoxville and East Tennessee area. Whenever possible, we buy locally grown products. The Grill’s steak options include locally raised, all natural grass-fed beef, as well as prime cuts and our premium selections. The bread is made by Knoxville-based Hogan’s Bakery, cheeses are from Sweetwater Valley and the Elk Burger is made from elk farm-raised in Morgan County. In addition, The Grill at Highlands Row offers a wide variety of diverse seafood options including shrimp and grits, a traditional high country seafood boil and fresh mountain trout.

Good times are easy to find at The Grill!. Kick back and unwind on our covered patio or catch up with friends in the lounge area. Keeping with the original restaurant's speakeasy tradition, we offer a wide variety of wines, draft and bottled beer, full-service bar, and specialty drinks including our signature moonshine recipes. Enjoy our Happy Hour specials from 5:00-7:00 p.m. daily throughout the entire restaurant. We regularly feature half-price bottles of wine on Mondays (reserve selections excluded), and half-price moonshine cocktails on Mondays and Tuesdays. Weather permitting, on Thursday evenings we host an eclectic blend of live jazz, blues, and country on our patio.
